This Policy governs creator earnings and payouts on Egwu. It applies to all creators who monetize content through the platform.
Revenue Sources
Creators may earn from:
- Song and album sales
- Fan support and direct tips
- Donations from listeners
- Premium content sales
- Future monetization programs introduced by Egwu
Payout Eligibility
To receive payouts, creators must:
- Have a verified Egwu account in good standing
- Complete KYC (identity) verification — see our KYC Policy
- Provide valid payout information (bank account or payment method)
- Comply with all Egwu policies and guidelines
Minimum Payout Threshold
Egwu may establish a minimum balance that must be reached before payments are processed. Minimum thresholds may be updated periodically and will be communicated to creators through the platform.
Payout Schedule
Payouts are generally processed monthly, subject to payment provider timelines, fraud reviews, and compliance checks. Egwu does not guarantee same-day or immediate payouts.
Holds and Delays
Egwu may temporarily hold earnings for:
- Ongoing fraud investigations
- Chargebacks or disputed transactions
- Legal requests or court orders
- Outstanding identity verification issues
Taxes
Creators are solely responsible for all applicable taxes related to earnings received through the Platform. Egwu may withhold taxes where legally required and will provide documentation as required by law.
