Egwu is a direct-to-fan music platform that allows artists across Africa and beyond to sell music and connect directly with their audience. Fans can discover, preview, and unlock songs — knowing every payment goes straight to the creator.

Download the Egwu app or visit egwu.africa and follow the registration process. You can sign up as a fan or an artist — choose the account type that suits you.

Use the "Forgot Password" option on the login page. Follow the instructions sent to your registered email address. If you don't receive an email, check your spam folder or contact help@egwu.africa.

Browse available music, select a song you like, complete the payment, and immediately gain access to the full content. Your unlocked tracks are available in your library anytime.

Some songs offer a preview before purchase — availability depends on the settings chosen by the individual artist. Look for the preview option on a track's page.

Due to the nature of digital products, purchases are generally non-refundable after successful delivery or access. Refunds may be granted for duplicate payments, verified technical issues, or unauthorized transactions. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for full details.

Artists earn from music sales, fan support and tips, premium content, exclusive releases, and other monetization features. Revenue flows directly from the fan to the creator. See our Creator Monetization Policy for details.

Payout schedules may vary depending on payment processing requirements and account verification status. Artists must complete identity verification and provide valid payment information to receive earnings.

You do. Artists retain full ownership of all original content uploaded to Egwu. By uploading, you grant Egwu a non-exclusive license to host, stream, sell, and promote your content through the platform. See our Artist Agreement for full terms.

Only upload content you own or have full rights to distribute and monetize. Uploading copyrighted material without permission violates our Copyright & IP Policy and may result in content removal or account suspension.

Email help@egwu.africa with your full legal name, contact information, a description of the copyrighted work, the URL(s) of the infringing content, and a statement confirming your good faith belief. Our team will investigate promptly. See the full process in our Copyright & IP Policy.
